4 Stars Great Shower Filter
I bought this filter on Amazon this week and it definately makes the water smell less like clorine and other stuff, and I have noticed that my skin is not as dry. This is a must get for anyone that lives in phoenix. My only problems were a bit of confusion on how to install it using that teflon tape first, the directions were not clear enough as to how much to put on etc. Other than that it is a great product.

5 Stars Yea! for charcoal
Using for about 3 weeks now. Doesn’t soften water, which is good. Hair isn’t dried out anymore; same with skin: using less lotion. Water doesn’t reek of…whatever that smell was (not sure it was chlorine). Reduces pressure slightly, maybe 15% or less: my shower time is the same.

Need wrench to tighten filter to pipe (I used the included Teflon tape here). Let the water leak/spray and tighten till it stops. (Be careful about over-tightening.) Hand-tightened to shower head. (Be sure to remove mineral deposits around shower pipe and head before attaching filter.) No leaks.

No more mineral build-up around shower head, curtain, tiles, tub. 10,000 gallon filtering capacity sounds good, but I don’t know how much water I use per shower. Hope it lasts at least 2 seasons. Good product.

well,i’m pretty sure i would have liked it!i like the concept..however,i ordered a new one,paid for a new one & there is no doubt in my mind this vendor send a used or sent back item.so the vendor gets an F+ for trying to pull that over on me!i’ll be calling credit card resolutions hotline and he will not be paid!this is awful!the filters come with paper seals,(and it had none at either end!)plus it was so dusty,i started sneezing in less than 5 seconds!.send me a new one or at least one you can’t grown corn on!unexceptable.not to mention unsanitary!!!!!!!!!!

3 Stars Does the trick
First off, the great thing about this product is that it doesn’t require you to get a new shower head. It incorporates your existing shower head. The chlorine smell is definitely gone and I feel good knowing my skin is not being attacked my harsh minerals and chemicals. The two complaints I have is that it doesn’t purify your water like brita or zerowater and out of the three I bought, one of them lets water leak through. Otherwise, great product.

I don’t know if I notice any difference in the water. We live in So Cal, so the water doesn’t smell very chlorinated.
